Florida Toy, Comic, & Collectible Show: This promotional fold costume card was distributed at the 16th Annual Florida Toy, Comic, & Collectible Show during Jan 2005. Folded, the card measures approx. 2 7/8" x 3 3/4". Open the card to reveal a swatch of material used in the making of Famke Janssen's (Jean Grey) costume in the X-Men film. (2005)

Hunt For Magneto Contest: These cards are part of a larger gatefold piece that came inbound in various Marvel comics and measure roughly 7.5" x 3.5". Each card is numbered on the back and contains extra promotional info on Sega Genesis Marvel video games. The prototype variants on cards 1, 2, and 3 contain the word "prototype" in light grey on the card backs. These variants are also slightly larger than the regular cards. The gatefold contains a scratch-off game piece. You can win a limited edition 5-card set by scratching the game piece and finding Captain America, or be one of the first 1000 to correctly solve the clues given on the gatefold. Scratch the game piece and find Magneto, and you can win an Anniversary uncut sheet. Cards #14-18 comprise the limited edition 5-card set only available through this mail-in offer. Miscellaneous: For lack of a better category in which to list these items, I've put them here. These are one-shot promos promoting the start of a new comic series, a particular comic issue, book, or event in the X-Men universe.
- Wolverine vs. Sabretooth: Measuring roughly 6 3/8" x 2 3/8", this card resembles a ticket for entry into a fighting match between Wolvie and Sabretooth. Used to promote Wolverine #126 featuring this classic match-up (1988).
- Wolverine #50: 4¼" x 5½" promotional card for the Wolverine #50 issue featuring a duel between Wolverine & Sabretooth (2006).
- X-Men #1: Large hologram sheet, measuring roughly 10.25" x 6.5", sent to dealers as a "Thank You" from Marvel for high-volume X-Men #1 (Vol. 2) comic orders. Issue #1 was released with 5 variant covers and this hologram depicts all 5 covers. There is both a gold and silver variant to this promotional card. Backs are blank. (1992)
- X-Men CD-ROM: This card measures 3" x 5" and came inserted in the X-Men Movie DVD. The card contains information to obtain a free limited edition X-Men CD-ROM (just register as a mutant on their website www.x-menrom.com). (2000)
- X-Men: Endangered Species: 4¼" x 5½" promotional card containing a checklist of all X-Men-related issues that are part of the X-Men Endangered Species storyline (2007).
- X-Men, Legends: 5" x 7" card promoting the X-Men video game by ActiVision. (2004)
- X-Men: Legends II, Rise of the Apocalypse: 8" x 10" card promoting the Activision video game of the same name. Distributed at the 2005 San Diego Comic-Con. (2005)

X-Men 3D Comic CD-ROM: These cards came packaged in jewel cases with small size CD-ROMs containing some of the more recent popular Marvel comic issues in electronic format. The cards contain nice 3D images of various Marvel comic artwork and each CD-ROM package comes not only with the lenticular card, but also with a set of 3D glasses. X-Men Comic Checklist cards: These cards are, in the comic vernacular, "one-shots". They advertise storylines for cross-over series that consist of several different comic titles as part of the storyline and contain a checklist of which comic and issue # to buy for the complete story.
- Generation X - The Countdown is On: X-Men titles introducing the new Generation X characters and The Phalanx Covenant storyline. (1994)
- Magneto #0: Receipt card - if you bought the 5 comics listed on this card, you receive the Magneto #0 comic free(1993).
- X-Men, Ages of Apocalypse: Measuring 4" x 5", the card front contains the checklist for the "Ages of Apocalypse" storyline running throughout several X-title issues in the month of Jan. 2000. The card back promotes new writers beginning on Iron Man #26 and Incredible Hulk #12 issues. (2000)
- X-Men, The All New, All Different: Checklist card for all new Age of Apocalypse titles (1995).
- X-Men, The End: Promo card/comic checklist for end of regular X-Men storyline and start of Age of Apocalypse storyline (1994).

X-Men 2, Flash International: Limited to only 50 cards, this card was made to promote the 2003 X-Men 2 theatrical film. The company producing these cards appears to be in the business of producing limited 50-card runs for various film subjects and may not be authorized as there is no Marvel trademark or copyright information on the card. The card is regular trading card size. (2005 Flash International)

X-Men, German: This 9-card promo set was a convention exclusive. Each card was given away at various card and comic conventions in Germany - 2 different cards were given away with the price of admission to each convention. You had to attend all conventions to get the entire 9-card set! All cards are on thick stock and contain replicas of various German edition X-Men comic covers. The card backs contain a list of German comic conventions for the first half of 1998. There is no copyright or date information.

X-Men: The Last Stand Battle Cards (U.K.): This set of 38 X-Men Battle cards came packaged in each Sunday's U.K. newspaper, The Mail. The set was distributed in 20-card packs over the course of 2 weeks to complete the set (the movie synopsis and instruction cards included in each pack are identical, making only 38 different cards in the set). Most of the set features images of various scenes from all three X-Men films, however, there are also non-X-Men characters as part of the set. Each game card has a Strength (St), Intelligence (I), Fighting Skill (F), and Speed (Sp) power level. Each card has rounded corners and measures roughly 2¼" x 3⅜". (2006 Marvel, 20^th Century Fox).

X-Men 2: United (U.K.): This 6-card set was distributed along with the 5-card Daredevil Movie set exclusively in theatres in the U.K. Although scheduled for a May 2003 release, they were distributed in Feb 2003 at the Daredevil movie opening. X-Men Valentines (1997): This 10-card set came in perforated strips and were produced to be given as Valentine's Day cards - how they were distributed is unknown. Each card measures 4" x 2 1/4" and all have pink backs with the text "Happy Valentine's Day". Here is an image of 3 of the cards in the strip (Paper Magic Group 1997).
