Miscellaneous: For lack of a better category in which to list these items, I've put them here. These are one-shot promos promoting the start of a new comic series, a particular comic issue, book, or event in the Spider-Man universe.
- Comic Book Legal Defense Fund:
  - Even More Fund: Another promotional card (4 1/4" x 6") for the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, featuring Spider-Man and the Green Goblin on the cover of the 2004 anthology book. Distributed at the 2004 San Diego Comic Con, the book is scheduled to premier at the Baltimore Comic Con in Sep 2004. (2004)
- Emerald City ComicCon: Promotional card (4" x 6") for the comic-con listing special guests of the con on the card back. Front has Spider-Man and Sandman fighting at the Space Needle in Seattle. (2007)
- Hero Illustrated - Spider-Man: Part of a 9-card promo set, this is card #H-6 and duplicates the December 1993 Hero Illustrated cover by Alex Ross in his rendition of the classic cover to Amazing Spider-Man issue #15.
- Hero Illustrated - Spider-Man (large lenticular): This card contains identical artwork to the Hero Illustrated #H-6 promo card with the text "Hero Illustrated". It is in a large lenticular format (7" x 10") with a blank back.
- Letterheard Press: Don't know the origin of this item but it appears to be a promotional card item, measuring 9.25" x 4", produced by the hologram manufacturer Letterhead Press. This may have been an item produced by L.P. to distribute directly to the comic and card manufacturers. The hologram appears to be the Green Goblin throwing a pumpkin bomb and has a 1995 Marvel Ent. Group copyright and date.
- Paradise ComiCon Toronto: Promotional card (4" x 6") for the comic-con listing special guests of the con on the card back. Front has Spider-Man in black costume swinging with a full moon in the background. (2007)
- Punisher & Spider-Man: This item was distributed by Marvel at summer comic conventions promoting the Garth Ennis & Steve Dillon creative team on The Punisher comic book. This measures 5 3/8" x 4 1/4" and is thinner than the normal trading card stock. (2001)
- Spider-Man: Back in Black : 4¼" x 5½" promotional card containing a checklist of all Spider-Man-related issues featuring a return of Spider-Man's black costume (2007).
- Spider-Man: Daily Bugle Press pass: 3" x 4.5" laminated card (made to look like a "press pass") given at 2001 summer comic conventions promoting the upcoming Spider-Man movie. (2001)
- Spider-Man DVD Collection: 4 1/4" x 6" card promoting the DVD collection of all 52 episodes of the 1967 Spider-Man animated series. (2004)
- Spider-Man lenticular: This card measures 4" x 6" and is blank backed. It was used as part of the cover to Sensational Spider-Man #0 and was sent separately to dealers to promote the comic.
- Spider-Man Movie After Party: 4" x 6" card promoting an after party event for the Spider-Man Movie premiere. (2002)
- Spider-Man, MTV: Distributed at the 2003 San Diego Comic-Con, this card measures 4.5" x 6" and promotes the new Spider-Man Animated series on MTV. (2003)
- Spider-Man, The Venom Factor: Promotional card for Spider-Man novel (1994).
- Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock: Another promotional card (4 1/4" x 6") for the DVD collection of modern Spider-Man animated episodes. (2004)
- Spider-Man 2 [Movie] Toy Fair 2004: Promotional card (5 3/4" x 3 7/8") given out at the 2004 New York Toy Fair promoting not only the film but the Spider-Man 2 Panini sticker set and album. (2004)
- Spider-Man 3 [Movie]: Promotional postcard featuring Spider-Man in black costume promoting the May 2007 release of the third Spider-Man film. (4¼" x 6") (2006)

Spider-Man 3D Comic CD-ROM: These cards came packaged in jewel cases with small size CD-ROMs containing some of the more recent popular Marvel comic issues in electronic format. The cards contain nice 3D images of various Marvel comic artwork and each CD-ROM package comes not only with the lenticular card, but also with a set of 3D glasses. Each card measures approximately 3 3/4" x 2 1/4". (2003 Marvel, ComX3D)

Spider-Man Comic Checklist cards: These cards are, in the comic vernacular, "one-shots". They advertise storylines for cross-over series that consist of several different comic titles as part of the storyline and contain a checklist of which comic and issue # to buy for the complete story.

Spider-Man, German: This 9-card promo set was a convention exclusive. Each card was given away at various card and comic conventions in Germany - 2 different cards were given away with the price of admission to each convention. You had to attend all conventions to get the entire 9-card set! All cards are on thick stock and contain replicas of various German edition Spider-Man comic covers. The card backs contain a list of German comic conventions for the first half of 1998. There is no copyright or date information.

Spider-Man 2 [Movie] (Germany): This single 3D promotional card was given out in German cinemas during the release of the Spider-Man 2 film. It has a yellow back and measures roughly 2 1/8" x 3 1/4". (2004 Marvel, Columbia Pictures)

Spider-Man (Key chains): These are unusual cards as they came as part of the cardboard packaging of various Spider-Man and Green Goblin key chains. All are made in China and do not contain any copyright or trademark information. The cards themselves are roughly 2.25" x 3.25" and have holofoil fronts with various prism finishes. The card backs also vary in that some contain artwork of Spider-Man on a blue background while others contain movie publicity scenes of Spider-Man and Green Goblin. Some card fronts contain scenes from the film (noted below) and others contain artwork previously scene in Spider-Man comics. It is not known how many are in the set. (2002)

Spider-Man Master Series: According to Promo Card Update, these were promo cards for a planned Spider-Man Master Series set that was never issued. There are three different cards, all embossed, each containing the same artwork by Mark Bagley (identical to the Spider-Man 30th Anniversary promo card art) with different colored backgrounds - gold, copper, and white. They are blank backed, and there are no copyright dates on the cards but PCU lists these as made in 1996. Here's an image of all 3.

Spider-Man Movie (Italy): Set of 4 promotional cards (measuring roughly 3.75" x 5.75") distributed in Italy to promote the opening of the Spider-Man movie. One interesting item of note here is that the artwork/image on one of the cards is identical to the regular unnumbered promo from the Topps trading card set, which appears to contain the World Trade Towers in the background. However, being that the Spider-Man movie opening in Italy was in 2002, the background image of the corresponding Italian card has been cropped such that this building is no longer visible in the background. Spider-Man 2 [Movie], Flash International: Limited to only 50 cards, this card was made to promote the Spider-Man 2 theatrical film. The company producing these cards appears to be in the business of producing limited 50-card runs for various film subjects and may not be authorized as there is no Marvel trademark or copyright information on the card. The card is regular trading card size. (2004 Flash International)

Spider-Man 2 [Movie] (Malaysia): This dual-image lenticular card was distributed inserted in Spider-Man 2 film VCDs sold in Malaysia. The card measures 4 3/4" x 4 3/4" and contains images of Spider-Man swinging toward the viewer about to shoot his web and of Spider-Man and Mary Jane together. The card is blank backed. Spider-Man 2 [Movie] (Philippines): Not promoting any particular product, but sponsored by MyGlobe in the Philippines (a cellular phone company), this is a 4-card set distributed to simply promote the release of the Spider-Man 2 film. Card backs contain info to log on to the official Spider-Man 2 web site for a chance to win money. The cards are on thin plastic and resemble somewhat flimsy phone cards, measuring 3 3/8" x 2 1/8". Spider-Man 2 [Movie] Network Benefits: Resembling a phone card, this single card is made of thin plastic and offers the bearer "great benefits as a member of the Spider-Man Movie Network". The card back contains info on how to join for discounts on movie and apparel items. (2004 Marvel, Columbia Pictures)

Spider-Man, Optigraphics: Large (measuring approximately 5.75" x 4.25") 3D card picturing Spider-Man about to shoot his web toward the viewer. The card is on a 8" x 11" cardboard backing that completes the promotional item for Optigraphics. This company specializes in producing special graphic cards, stickers, and various paper items and the Spider-Man piece was used as a promotional item for their 3D lenticular process. The card back is foil enhanced with the same Spider-Man artwork in the background and contains more information on their company and "patented Optipan system". From the looks and design format of the large promo card, Optigraphics appears to be the company who produced the Spider-Man movie small 3D cards from Marinela, distributed in Mexico. Spider-Man, Scarabocchio (Italy): This set, made and distributed in Italy for what looks to be a fan magazine, consists of 10 known Spider-Man cards - all containing the same image front but have different backs. Only five of the cards are numbered. It appears that 450 cards were made of some cards in the set, but it is unknown if this is the production run for the entire set. All card fronts show Spider-Man jumping out of a small frame with largely white background. The list below refers to the text/images on the card backs. (1992 Marvel)

Spider-Man 2 [Movie] Supply (South Korea): This is a subset of 5 cards from Magic Ruler made and distributed in South Korea. Don't know if these are part of a card game or a food promotional product. The cards are regular trading card size with rounded corners. A few of the cards contain images from the Spider-Man 2 film with special background graphics. Text is in Korean. (2004 Sony Pictures)

Spider-Man U.K. Stickers: There are several sets of stickers listed here that came inbound or polybagged in U.K. Marvel reprint magazines and comics. Some have copyright dates and some do not.
- These stickers are clear acetate on white backing and were inbound in their respective character-based comics/magazines. All measure 6 1/2" x 3 3/4".(2000)

Spider-Man, Unobtainium: This is a 4-card set, each measuring 5.5" x 8" and were produced by Unobtainium Ltd. The company is in the business of producing and selling collectible replicas of movie props. These cards were made to promote their product for the upcoming Spider-Man movie. Spider-Man Valentines: This 8-card set came in perforated strips and were produced to be given as Valentine's Day cards - how they were distributed is unknown. Each card measures 4" x 2 1/4" and all have blank backs. Here is an image of 3 of the cards in the strip (Paper Magic Group 1996).

Spider-Man (Prism) Valentines: This 10-card set came in perforated strips and were produced to be given as Valentine's Day cards - how they were distributed is unknown. Each card measures 4" x 2 1/4" and all have blank backs. Here is an image of 3 of the cards in the strip (Paper Magic Group 1996).

Spider-Man 2, Variety International: Available through Pacific, AMC, and other various theatres throughout Canada and the U.S., each of these cards could be obtained by a $2 donation to The Children's Charity. Each card came as part of a tri-fold perforated larger card. Attached to the large card was also a gold heart pin. (2005)
