Chase:
Comments: Perhaps rarer than the Mexican Marvel Pepsi set, this was distributed in Mexico and seems to be, at first glance, a re-packaging of the 1994 DC Master Series set. However, the Pepsi basic set contains 100 cards, whereas the DC Master Series set contains only 90, and some of the cards in the DC Master Series set are not included here. The remaining cards that make up the Pepsi set are taken from the Batman Saga of the Dark Knight set.
The chase cards are similar to the chase cards in the DC Master Series set, however, the double-sided spectra etch cards were "split" in this case to make single chase cards. Metallica cards #11 and #12 are similar to the foil chase cards found in the "Batman Saga of the Dark Knight" set.
All card backs contain a 1995 copyright date and the Pepsi logo.
